This post is part of our blog series, The A to Z of Being Babyproof, a celebration of the attitudes and behaviours it takes to balance career and family – because “babyproof” is not a destination, it’s a blueprint for having it all and making it work.
As we say good riddance to January, we can reflect on an arduous month. Not only is it the middle of winter and the post Christmas festivity slump, but many of us will have been embarking on challenging New Year Resolutions – trying to improve our health and fitness, break bad habits or enhance our careers and working lives.
So, spill the beans, how did you all do?
If everything is going to plan and you’re pleased with your achievements thus far – congratulations! Keep doing what you’re doing – you should be proud of yourself! If you’ve found the month challenging and feel you have already ‘failed’ in some of your ambitions, take heart. Our blog series this month has been looking at the value of ‘failure’ and exploring how it is important to see mistakes and adversity as learning experiences on the road to ultimate success. So whatever you do, don’t give up! The more you fail, the more you will learn about yourself. Here are some of our favourite inspirational quotes to keep you motivated.

“I’ve missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I’ve been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.”- Michael Jordan
