Your Own Worst Enemy by Kenneth W. Christian Ph.D
I stumbled upon this book by accident while browsing through Waterstones one day. Its subtitle, “Breaking the Habit Of Adult Under-Achievement”, makes a bold promise, but I really felt this book delivered. While I didn’t relate to all of the scenarios and case studies presented here, there were so many elements that rang true for me, such as that all too common problem of failing to set big enough goals for yourself. It is also the first book I’ve ever read that made the idea of order and being organised really appealing.
Read this book if you want help with:
- self esteem
- fear of failure or disappointment
